Bright and basic one bedroom apartment, perfect for a couple, in the heart of the centre of Amsterdam, close to Dam Square.
This accommodation has all the basics you need for a city break. The main living area has a table for four, with a comfortable sofa and flatscreen TV at the other end of the room. There also is a separate bedroom with a double bed, bedside tables and lamps. The accommodation offers a small kitchenette with a fridge, coffee machine and kettle – perfect for that morning cup of tea or coffee! The bathroom has a shower, toilet and washbasin. This apartment is in a great location and what more do you actually need for a city break? A word of warning – access is via very steep stairs, and makes this apartment unsuitable for those with mobility difficulties.
Located in the very heart of Amsterdam, near to the famous and bustling Dam Square, this apartment is a perfect base from which to explore the city (and its nightlife). With its central location, the whole of Amsterdam really is at your fingertips.
The “Negen straatjes” (9 streets), home to many of Amsterdam’s exciting smaller boutiques, are just a short walk away. The Palace on Dam Square, the Red Light District, the hectic Kalverstraat shopping street and the calm of the Vondel park are also within easy reach, either on foot, by bike or by tram. Visit the tempting Lindengracht food market on a Saturday morning, or the farmers' market on the Noordermarkt. The Museumplein, home to the Van Gogh Museum, the newly reopened Stedelijk Museum of Modern Art and the Rijksmuseum with its collection of world renowned works of art, is but a 15-minute stroll away (or 5-minute tram ride). There is something for every taste!
For those of you who want to venture a little further afield, hop on one of the many trams to take you across Amsterdam. The main train station, Central Station, is also just a stone’s throw away.
