Does getting away (to a lake front home with views of both the lake and the mountains) for the weekend sound like something you’re interested in?
Neachen Bay is formally known as Squaw Bay, otherwise a part of Lake Coeur d’Alene in beautiful Idaho.
NEACHEN BAY HOUSE
The Neachen Bay House is situated lake front allowing for stunning views from the entire house. There are two decks that look out onto the lake itself. The upper level is a bit more private while the main deck extends out onto each side allowing for maximum enjoyment & views.
It is a 3 bedroom home with the master bedroom holding one queen sized bed. The second bedroom has a futon couch as well as bunk beds perfect for the youngin’s in the family. The top bunk is a twin and the bottom is a full sized. The third bedroom holds two beds that are full sized beds. This home is big enough for the entire family! Bring no more than a total of 8 people.
There are two full bathrooms equipped for everyone in the family’s use.
The kitchen is oversized and has all of the appliances you’ll need to whip up the perfect dinner after a long day beneath the sun or out on the lake.
Enjoy that dinner out on the main deck or at the dining table that looks out onto the lake. If you’re up for grilling, we do have one out on the deck too.

Neachen Bay House has it’s own private dock meaning you can bring your boat, kayaks or water skis along too! Being in this gorgeous lake front home means that you can dive right into those water sport activities, literally dive!
If you’re looking to wind down at the end of the night, make use of our televisions. They are available for your use.
If you have a trailer, feel free to bring that along too. There’s enough space for two cars maximum and your trailer too.
We do offer a kayak and paddle boat for use during your stay as well!

Coeur d’Alene is in a prime area for endless activities whether it be outdoor explorations or exciting night life experiences.
Here you can do everything from taking a cruise to going on a fishing expedition. There are golf courses where you can swing your favorite clubs and ranches where you can see or ride horses.
There are fabulous bike and hiking trails that provide beautiful scenic views of the lake and the mountains too.
Dive into the water sports and hit the lake. You can kayak, boat, and even water ski all while enjoying the views the towering peaks provide.
If you’re visiting during colder months, then explore the art galleries or go shopping at one of the many shopping centers.
There are many choices for fine dining experiences whether it be lake side restaurants or breweries offering the finest beers. The diversity that this area has to offer is sure to suit everyone in the family.
