And there’s no better space to socialise than in the apartment’s spacious lounge/kitchen/diner. You’ll soon see that the level of décor is high throughout the property, and in here there’s a shiny wooden floor, a big ‘stretch out on me now’ sofa that converts into a double bed and patio doors that lead you out onto the balcony, where there’s a table and chairs you can use for a quiet drink or four. Back inside, the apartment has a flatscreen TV which will let you check out the best of British TV.
There’s also a breakfast bar with stools where you can sit and snack and watch whoever’s in the kitchen do their thing, if they’re preparing a meal. The kitchen is as modern as the rest of the apartment, it’s smart black and white suite playing host to all the appliances you get at home but just can’t access in a hotel. There’s even a coffee machine with pods, so you can start the day in the right way. If you prefer tea and biscuits, you’ll find them waiting for you here too. Just one of the many homely touches your hosts take time to remember.
Feeling sleepy yet? No? Good, that gives us time to tell you about the apartment’s two bathrooms, both featuring a tub with shower over, so there should be no worries about waiting to get ready in the mornings. You’ll find complimentary soaps and shower gels in here, and there’s even a trouser press (so we do share a few things in common with hotels!)
Onto the bedrooms, both of which are neatly presented, with cosy beds. One’s a double bed, the other features a zip and link bed which can be arranged as a double or two singles – just let us know in advance how you want it set up and we’ll sort it. And don’t forget the extra sleeping space offered by the sofa bed in the lounge.
Guest Access:
In short, it’s all yours! This 2 bedroom Reading apartment will be exclusively yours during your booking. Simply collect the keys from a local shop just 1 minute away and you’re in. There’s also private secure parking on-site.
Interaction with Guests:
There’s a self check-in system used with this apartment. But that’s not to say your hosts will take your booking, give you some details and then ride off into the sunset. Far from it. They will be on hand via telephone or messenger service to answer any queries you may have during your time in the apartment.
The Neighborhood:
Whatever brings you to this part of the world, welcome to Reading. The apartment is set in the Heron House development that’s a couple of miles from Reading Town Centre (10 mins by car). It’s a largely residential neighbourhood that’s far enough from the hustle and bustle to give you a chance to relax.

Getting Around:
Having a private parking space really makes travelling by car a good option. We’re just off junction 11 of the M4 and close to the M25 which circles London, so you can reach all parts of the UK road network pretty quickly from here.
There’s always the option of catching a bus too, as there are stops nearby, and you can always catch services to and from Reading Railway Station which links you to London, Bristol, Bournemouth and other destinations.
Staying here is a good option if you’re flying into or out of Heathrow as the airport is just 35 minutes away. And if you’re not a fan of public transport, you can always order a cab!
